Laketran, of Lake County, OH, has announced that tickets are now on sale for its second season of Sports Express, a bus service that takes fans directly to Cleveland Browns’ home games.
“Following a successful launch last year, the service is back to provide Lake County residents with a convenient and affordable ride to Huntington Bank Field,” according to a press release.
Round-trip fares are $15 per person, with buses departing from the Mentor Park-n-Ride (8650 Market Street, Mentor, OH) two hours before kickoff. Buses drop fans off near the stadium at the northeast corner of St. Clair Ave. and E. 9th St. After the game, riders can enjoy a trip home, with return buses leaving 45 minutes after the final whistle.
“New this season, Laketran is offering a 20% discount for groups of three or more, making it easier than ever to ride with family and friends,” the release added.
Building on the success of Browns’ game-day service, Laketran is also expanding Sports Express this year to include select weekend Cleveland Cavaliers’ home games.
“Fans can skip the hassle of driving and parking downtown and enjoy the same easy round-trip ride to Rocket Arena,” according to Laketran.
“We’re thrilled to bring back Sports Express and add Cavs’ games this year,” Laketran CEO Ben Capelle said. “Whether you’re heading downtown for football or basketball, this service takes the stress out of game day and lets fans focus on the fun.”
