BYD Americas CEO Stella Li Honored At ‘Women Who Dared’ Dinner

BYD Americas CEO Stella Li was among 12 notable women honored for their career achievements at the 2023 China Institute “Women Who Dared” dinner, recently held in San Francisco.

A non-profit educational and cultural organization, the institute will soon celebrate its 100th anniversary.

“I’m honored to receive this distinguished award, and pleased that the China Institute included me in an important event honoring so many accomplished and strong women,” Li said.

The “Women Who Dared” celebration dinner took place at the HL Peninsula Hotel. The event recognized outstanding women from “all walks of life … for their unremitting efforts and outstanding contributions to building a beautiful community.”

It should be noted, International Women’s Day is March 8.

“On this International Women’s Day, I want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the immense contributions women make in our company,” Li said. “Women are present at every stage of the process, and their input is essential to BYD’s success.”
