Just a few days before the end of Prevost’s 100th year, Canada’s largest family-owned motorcoach operator, Coach Atlantic Maritime Bus has reached an agreement with the company for an order of 100 coaches.

“The coaches serve to mark the historic milestone and strong partnership between the two companies and will be fulfilled over the coming years,” according to a press release.

“I am deeply grateful to the Coach Atlantic team for their continued trust in Prevost,” François Tremblay, president of Prevost and Volvo Group Canada, said. “This partnership not only brings significant economic benefits to our regions but also reinforces the strong bond between our companies. Together, we will continue to drive innovation and excellence in the motorcoach industry.”

“The alliance,” according to the release, “highlights Coach Atlantic as a true market leader and celebrates the successful, longstanding relationship between the two organizations.”

“This deal caps off an exciting year of growth and celebration for Prevost,” Tremblay said.

The release added: “The partnership strengthens Prevost’s robust production capacity, while providing Coach Atlantic with the state-of-the-art motorcoach fleet needed to meet the growing demand for premium transportation services across Canada. This strategic investment will enhance the overall travel experience for customers, reinforcing Coach Atlantic’s reputation for exceptional service and reliability.”

“For the last 100 years, Prevost has set the standard in the motorcoach industry for reliability, service, and innovation,” Matthew Cassidy, president of Coach Atlantic Transportation Group, said. “We are proud to be their partner and excited to celebrate their 100th anniversary with this announcement. In addition to showing our commitment to the Prevost team, we want this order to provide confidence to our key customers and markets (multi-day tours, cruise ship shore excursions, group charter, and intercity transportation) that we are here to grow with them and will continue to provide them with best-in-class equipment and service.”

“As Prevost enters its next century, this historic agreement represents not only a significant milestone in the company’s legacy but also a powerful statement of confidence in the future of the motorcoach industry,” according to the release.

“We are proud to count Coach Atlantic among our trusted partners as we move into the next century of innovation,” Tremblay said.
