Daimler Coaches North America Announces New Vice President Of Sales As Industry Veteran Retires

Daimler Coaches North America is both celebrating and bidding a fond farewell to Robert (Bob) J. Miller, who will retire at the end of this year.

“Bob’s exceptional leadership and dedication have been instrumental in the successful ramp-up of Daimler Coaches and the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz Tourrider to the North American market,” according to a press release. “During the transition period, Bob will work closely with Jason Brunninger to ensure a smooth handover.”

“We are deeply thankful for Bob’s vital contribution in establishing Daimler Coaches in North America,” DCNA CEO & President Thomas Rohde said. “Our entire team extends its best wishes for his well-deserved retirement. At the same time, we are excited to welcome Jason as our new Vice President of Sales. His extensive motorcoach experience and strong customer focus will help further expand our market presence and meet our ambitious growth targets.”

The release added: “Jason Brunninger, a seasoned professional with over 20 years in the motor industry, brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record to his new role. Most recently, as General Manager for Mercedes-Benz Buses Southern Africa, Jason led the launch of a new motorcoach platform, driving significant growth for Mercedes-Benz Buses in this market. His previous roles include Head of Sales for Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Head of Sales for Freightliner Trucks Southern Africa, where he demonstrated excellence in driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maintaining market leadership.”

“I am thrilled to join the DCNA team and grow the Mercedes-Benz Tourrider brand in North America,” Brunninger said. “We have an excellent product, great service network and most importantly, people our customers can rely on.”

Brunninger holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from the University of South Africa. He is an avid fan of the outdoors, spending his free time with his family, camping, biking and hiking.
