New IMG President To Start In September

Phelps Hope

The International Motorcoach Group (IMG) has announced Phelps Hope as the new President, effective Sept. 3, 2024.

“Hope has extensive experience in hotel, meetings, events, and association management. As EVP Operations & Chief Development Officer for the Asian American Hotel Owners Assn (AAHOA), he managed operations, revenue, and membership growth,” according to a press release. “Previously, he led global meetings and events at Kellen, managing over 300 events annually with $30M in revenues. He also owned Aspen Productions and Absolutely Atlanta, specializing in corporate events and destination management.”

IMG Chairman Mike Dickson said: “While change in the top leadership is a difficult process for any organization, I believe IMG is very lucky to have found Phelps to continue leading IMG in ‘Setting the Standard’ for the network and the industry.”

Hope added: “I am truly excited to join IMG as the new President and am deeply honored to build upon the exceptional work of outgoing President Bronwyn Wilson as we shape the future of our organization for our stakeholders and partner members within the motorcoach and transportation industry. The chance to work with such a dedicated and distinguished membership, renowned for setting industry standards, is incredibly inspiring to me.”

Outgoing IMG President Bronwyn Wilson said: “The IMG network is in an outstanding position today, and Hope will continue that path of pursuing excellence and expanding the foundations of IMG that I have had the honor to lead and serve.”
