RATP Dev USA Awarded GoDurham Fixed Route Operations Contract In Durham, NC

RATP Dev USA, the North American subsidiary of the global transportation provider RATP Dev, has announced it has been awarded a fixed route operations contract in Durham, NC, which will operate under the name GoDurham. This will be RATP Dev USA’s seventh location in North Carolina. The contract will have a service start date of July 1 and a five-year base term, with the potential for up to two option years.

The contract will involve the operation of 58 vehicles and the management of 245 employees.

“We are thrilled to partner with GoDurham and contribute to the city’s vibrant transportation network,” RATP Dev USA Regional Vice President Steve Sherrer said. “Our team is dedicated to delivering safe, reliable and sustainable transportation solutions, and we look forward to serving the Durham community.”

RATP Dev USA Chief Executive Officer Cyril Aubin added, “We are excited to expand our presence in North Carolina with this new contract, and to partner with GoDurham in improving mobility for residents and visitors alike. This partnership is a testament to our company’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and excellence in service.”

In addition, RATP Dev USA recognizes the importance of maintaining driver consistency, and will be offering employment opportunities to current employees.
