The Routing Company (TRC), a global on-demand vehicle routing and management platform, has announced Pandora Shelley as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Shelley previously served as Vice President of Operations for TRC.

Since joining TRC in 2021 to head operations, Shelley has overseen the company’s growing commitments spanning all aspects of global operations including launch, expansion, market operations, customer support, analytics, and partnership management involving global deployments.

“Pandora has proven to be a pivotal member of our executive leadership team and a strong contributor to our customers’ operational success, and it is my pleasure to appoint her as COO,” TRC Chief Executive Officer James Cox said. “Since joining she has progressively assumed greater responsibilities covering all aspects of market operations, while expanding and developing a high performing team that is relentlessly focused on delivering the best customer experience. This has become one of our biggest differentiators and she is a direct contributor to this success.”

“Prior to TRC, Shelley served as CEO of Fishburners, Australia’s longest-enduring and largest tech startup community in the Southern Hemisphere,” according to a press release.

“Leading operations at TRC has been an incredible journey so far and I’m honored to be stepping into the role as Chief Operating Officer. It brings me so much joy seeing the impact we have had on communities around the world, and I’m excited to accelerate this impact as we continue to grow our footprint,” Shelley said. “We’ve built an incredible team at TRC that is deeply motivated to bring convenient transportation to more riders.”

Shelley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Technology Sydney, where she was awarded the 2019 Alumni Award for Excellence in Business. She was also a finalist in the 2019 Telstra Business Awards and named by Startup Daily as one of the top women in innovation.

“TRC’s award-winning Pingo platform includes the Drive Pingo™ and Ride Pingo™ apps and the Pingo Dashboard™ operations management tool,” the release added.
