Trailways has announced the expansion of its New York City service with the addition of a Hudson Yards stop, launching Aug. 8, 2025. The new stop, located at West 33rd Street & 11th Avenue, offers travelers access to Manhattan’s West Side, providing an alternative to the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
“The newly added location is due to popular demand,” according to a press release. “For travelers arriving in New York City, the Hudson Yards stop delivers seamless access to major West Side destinations, including the revitalized Hudson River Park, The High Line, Vessel, Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Madison Square Garden, and Chelsea.
“For New Yorkers heading out of the city, the new stop provides easy weekend departures to Hudson Valley destinations such as New Paltz, Rosendale, Kingston, Woodstock, and Phoenicia — without traveling through the Port Authority.”
Operated by Trailways of New York, the new stop is designed with weekend travelers in mind. Current plans call for a Friday departure from Hudson Yards and a return trip on Sundays. The location will serve as an added option to the Port Authority bus terminal for travel in and out of New York City.
“We’re thrilled to offer our riders a new, convenient option on Manhattan’s West Side,” Nick Crist, Vice President at Trailways of New York, said. “Whether travelers are visiting the city or escaping for a weekend in the Hudson Valley, this new stop makes the journey easier and more enjoyable.”
